I am trying to download the new sims expansion pack it takes six hours FML and you can't even download later once you start

alas, I have an all too similar experience (and this with a game that has been out for quite a while). EA has a completely unintuitive site, with constant server problems, ill thought out customer service (or...very WELL thought out to separate you from your money). It's been over 24 hours for me, too, and no game in sight (hell, no SITE in sight)... never again

Their email just says to go to the web site and find the game to download.
The chat support actually quoted Douglas Adams to me - "sorry for the inconvenience."

Yep.... The Identical problem here now with C&C 4

Email support 10 times now...

Never ever use EA Store again..

Happy to take ur money.

But if you want thair productl.. well u might need to go to ur local retailer for that one

this helped alot...well as in i had the same exact problem and i was about to throw my computer at the wall from frustration like how the fuck are you supposed to know it takes a fucking year for the download button to appear... im still waiting...

I bought Black and White 2: Battle of the Gods, on electronic download two days ago and I still am unable to download it...
It's blank underneath Unlock Code for me two which really pisses me off..
Please say if u get a solution :P

I'm waiting since some days for spport to answer since they got all my information. i can't login to download manager, and don't even get an error message why (it just says 'connencting'). ea digital download really sucks! i'm thinking about holding back creditcard payment.

Yeah, I have wasted so much money on EA's download service, only to have it bite me in the butt. Switching email addresses seems to equal loss of games. Now I cannot download the games I purchased. This might also be because of their 6 month limit thing (their reasoning behind that is they can keep it on their servers for 6 months, and paying the extra money will mean they can keep it on their servers for 2 years, but it's obvious that it costs them nothing to house a file on a server).

I still buy through EA, only I buy the physical copies. No worries there. But EA's Download service is just horrible.
